The ABC's of the Christian walk:

A stands for Amen. Saying “Amen” is how we typically end our prayers and the “A” reminds us that we need to pray and to bring our needs before God, thank Him and ask for His guidance. This is the Primary way that we speak to God.

Ephesians 6: 18 says: “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”

B stands for Bible. By daily reading your bible he will continually reveal His character & Love for you. This will build your trust in Him This is the primary way God speaks to us, through His word.

Joshua 1: 8 says: “This book of the law(Bible) shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

If God speaks to you out of his word, do what He says and memorize and meditate on it.

C stands for Church. It is important to be in fellowship with other believers. We recommend a church that studies the bible verse by verse.

Hebrews 10: 25 says: “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

D stands for Discipleship. It is a discipline to walk with Jesus. Be disciplined. If you are a new Christian you should seek to have someone disciple you in the ways of following Jesus. If you are a seasoned Christian you should ask the Lord to bring you someone to disciple.

Matthew 28: 19 - 20 says: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

E stands for Evangel. Go tell someone about your new found relationship with Jesus. Share with them how Good is speaking to you and guiding you.

Mark 16:15 And He(Jesus) said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to every creature.

Ask God for help in every aspect of your life. Through his Holy Spirit he can help you do the impossible.

Jeremiah 33: 3 says: Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
